About the company

Our client is a revenue-positive, seed-stage AI startup of about 14 people. Its AI agents find the right expert for a client's question and interview them, mostly by voice, for strategy consulting firms, private equity, hedge funds and investors.

The role

This product builder does classic product work — understanding users and deciding what to build, backed by data — and then builds it themselves with AI tools, alongside a platform team that owns architecture and scale. Iteration is measured in hours. Business understanding and learning speed matter more than engineering depth; the proven hire is a technical or quantitative graduate who spent a couple of years in top consulting and now builds products.

What you'll do

  • Understand users and decide what to build, backed by data
  • Build and ship it yourself with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code and ChatGPT
  • Work with LLM APIs and agent workflows
  • Partner with a platform engineering team that owns architecture, security and scale
  • Iterate in hours, not weeks, with consulting and investing customers

Nice to have

  • A technical or quantitative major (CS, data science, engineering, math)
  • Built something with LLM APIs or agent workflows
  • Shipped products end to end at a VC-backed startup
  • Consulting, private equity or investing domain exposure

Tech stack

AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code), LLM APIs and agent workflows.
