About the company

Our client is a fast-growing voice AI platform whose automation powers millions of AI-driven customer conversations. They work closely with customers, move on rapid feedback loops, and are defining a category-leading product in how businesses communicate.

The role

As a full-stack engineer you would work across the platform, from backend architecture such as prompt orchestration and telephony integrations to the dashboards and analytics tools customers use every day. You would collaborate closely with the founding team and lead projects from architecture to production. The role leans roughly 60–70% frontend at first.

What you'll do

Develop core features such as prompt orchestration, dashboards, analytics and telephony integrations
Build scalable full-stack systems, from polished UIs to robust APIs and DevOps workflows
Lead projects from architecture to production, owning coding, deployment and iteration
Create intuitive interfaces and APIs that let customers go live in hours
Support customer onboarding, debug issues and turn feedback into product improvements

What we're looking for

I have 5+ years of experience as a balanced full-stack engineer
I have 1.5+ years at VC-backed startups, ideally several of them (or as a founder or founding engineer), or a long stint with fast promotions at a big tech company
I have strong frontend skills in React and TypeScript
I have strong backend skills in Python, Node.js and AWS, with a solid grasp of distributed systems
I have a degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering from a top-tier university
I bring founder-level ownership and thrive in a fast-paced setting
I can work on-site in Redwood City five days a week
